This lesson will show and example of a player choosing to double their b-pawns to prevent the opponents typical plans. The opponent was never able to find an active plan and lost with out much happening.

Advantages of doubled b-pawns:
– remove opponents typical queenside pawn play
– double rooks on the a-file
